International Conference on Mixed-Anion Compounds (ICMAC)

An International Conference on Mixed-Anion Compounds (ICMAC) will be held at Kobe,
Japan (Kobe Convention Bureau) on December 7-10, 2021, in a hybrid format, so participants can also join online.
The purpose of this conference, hosted by the MEXT Grant-in-Aid “Mixed-Anion Project” (https://www.mixed-anion.jp/?lang=en), is to provide a platform for discussion and information exchange on the current research related to chemistry and physics on mixed-anion compounds. It is partly co-hosted by JSPS Core-to-Core Program (https://kageyama-c2c.ehcc.kyoto-u.ac.jp)
The topic covers a wide range of areas from synthesizing new materials and developing characterization tools to understanding of fundamental chemical and physical properties offered by mixed-anion compounds.

The meeting will bring together top scientists on mixed-anion science from around the world, and thus we expect stimulating discussions on the present status and future prospects of this exciting field.
